Anonimo Militare Chrono

Anonimo unveils a new limited edition of its Militare Chrono in an oxidized bronze case with a deep blue hand-brushed dial.

THE BRONZE AGE

Anonimo was among the first contemporary watch brands to use bronze. This alloy is made predominantly of copper and tin, although other elements can be present. Upon exposure to air, bronze oxidizes on its outer layer causing a different colored patina that consists of copper oxide. This patina will be different for each owner of the watch, creating a truly unique piece that will continue to evolve over time. The Anonimo Militare Chrono is already deliberately oxidized so consumers can see how this living metal will look after time. The bronze case of this timepiece comes in a 43mm case size, is water-resistant to 120 meters and features an open sapphire crystal case back.

A DEEP BLUE DIAL MIRRORING THE SEA

The dial features Anonimo’s traditional layout with the numbers four, eight and 12, reproducing the form of the letter “A” for Anonimo. The dial on the Militare Chrono comes in this deep blue that has been finished using a hand-brushed technique.

THE CHRONOGRAPH MOVEMENT

The Anonimo Militare Chrono is powered by a Swiss Made Sellita SW300 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The timepiece also comes with an exclusive oscillating weight and a DD2035M bi-compax chronograph module that features the chronograph seconds in the center and a 30-minute chronograph counter at nine o’clock. It also includes a small seconds counter at three o’clock.

THE STRAP

The strap comes in brown calfskin with the addition of bronze stitching. It is handmade in Italy and comes fitted with an oxidized bronze pin buckle.
