History of Orient

The Orient Watch Company was founded in Japan in 1951 by Shogoro Yoshida, who already had 50 years of experience selling pocket watches in his shop called Yoshida Watch Shop. Over the last 65+ years, the Orient Watch Company has built an excellent reputation for producing high-quality timepieces with great designs and affordable prices. All of the brand’s movements are made in-house.
