Bulgari revisits its timeless icon, the Bulgari Aluminium, with an updated chronograph, a tennis-themed watch with a left-side crown, and some colorful and bold Capri-inspired watches perfect for summer.
The Bulgari Aluminium watch has a rich history of combining unexpected materials to create a versatile, stylish timepiece. First introduced in 1998, the watch received a significant update in 2020, with a mechanical self-winding movement that further solidified its iconic status. The watch has received numerous awards for its outstanding design and iconic status, including the GPHG Iconic Watch Prize in 2020 and the Red Dot Best of the Best 2023 award.
Now, in 2023, five new versions of the Bulgari Aluminium have been released that showcase its versatility and appeal, the black and the white Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph, the Solotempo Capri Limited Edition, the Chronograph Capri limited edition, and the limited Match Point Edition. Each version features unique design elements that make it stand out and perfectly embodies Bulgari’s Italianità, combining Italian design flair with unexpected coolness to create a timeless icon that transcends gender, age, and trends.
Bvlgari Aluminum Chronograph in Black or White
The Bulgari Aluminium was a phenomenon with its unique design, an off-white dial, and black sub-counters in 1998. The watch was relaunched in 2020 with improved features and a faithful design that stood the test of time. Bulgari has redesigned the watch, keeping in mind its mechanical movement, construction techniques, and premium materials, to make it even more impressive. This spring, a new version of the watch is being launched, available in two design options. The new Bulgari Aluminium has a larger case size of 41mm and a new chronograph movement. The watch is now available with an updated black-and-white or all-black dial, which adds sophistication to the timepiece.
The watch has a sleek aluminum case with a titanium case back that is treated with DLC for durability and scratch resistance. The black rubber bezel and double logo give the watch a sporty touch. The black or white dial has black counters, luminescent hands, and indexes, providing a clear display even in low light. The Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph has a mechanical self-winding movement B381, with a chronograph and date functions that ensure precise timekeeping. The DLC-coated titanium crown and chronograph pushers make the watch durable and stylish.
The black rubber bracelet is one of the most iconic features of the Bulgari Aluminium watch. It is comfortable and stylish, with an innovative design and meticulous construction. The aluminum-link bracelet pays tribute to Bulgari’s commitment to quality and innovation, and the aluminum pin buckle ensures a secure and comfortable fit for the wearer. The new watches are water-resistant up to 100m.
The Blue Bvlgari Aluminium Capri Limited Edition
Experience the spirit of Bulgari’s 80s era with the Bulgari Aluminium watch, which pays tribute to the Italian roots of the brand while celebrating the glamour and jet-set lifestyle of the island of Capri. The Bulgari Aluminium Capri Edition is available in a solotempo (time and date) and chronograph version, both featuring a shaded blue dial with luminescent hands and indexes in a 40mm aluminum case. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it perfect for exploring both land and sea.
The Bulgari Aluminium Capri Chronograph is powered by the reliable mechanical self-winding caliber B130, while the Capri Solotempo model offers accurate timekeeping with a caliber B77 mechanical automatic movement and a date display. Both models feature a rubber bracelet with aluminum links and an aluminum pin buckle, providing a comfortable fit on the wrist. The watch also comes in packaging that complements its design with a beautiful blue shading. The personalized case back featuring Capri’s Faraglioni adds a touch of elegance and exclusivity to the watch, making it a perfect blend of sublime excellence, coolness, and precision. Each version is a limited edition of 1000 pieces.
The Bvlgari Aluminium Match Point Limited Edition
The Bulgari Aluminium watch has always been popular among tennis enthusiasts due to its sporty style and modern design. This year, the brand is launching the Match Point Edition, specifically designed for tennis players. The watch comes in a striking green color and is intended to be worn on the court as well as in the clubhouse. The left-hand crown and Velcro® strap provide maximum comfort while playing.
The watch features a white dial with green luminescent hands and indexes and a yellow luminescent dot. The case back is personalized with an engraving of a tennis ball, adding a unique touch to this 800-piece limited edition. The packaging of the watch is also unconventional, as it is designed to resemble a tennis ball, with the same yellow color as the dots you can see above the hour markers and on the second hand.
The Match Point Edition is powered by the reliable B77 mechanical movement with automatic winding and date function, which ensures precise timekeeping and has a 42-hour power reserve.
