Each of the 12 indexes of the timepiece has a different color, an idea which was inspired by the chromatic circle of Swiss expressionist painter Johannes Itten. Itten was famous for his color theories, which he outlined in his book The Art of Color (1961).
The Form A is powered by an automatic movement with a date at three o’clock and a 38-hour power reserve.
It comes in stainless steel with a screwed case back and an attractive Milanese bracelet.
The timepiece is water resistant to 50 meters.
This Junghans Form A 100 Jahre Bauhaus is limited to 1,000 pieces.
