Limited edition of 178 pieces
Louis Erard joins forces with the architect and watchmaker Alain Silberstein in the creation of two limited edition Regulator timepieces.
These two limited editions feature dials in Alain Silberstein’s very distinctive signature style. Silberstein was inspired by the Swiss railway clocks with their simple lines and has combined bold indexes with geometric shapes, such as a red triangle for the hours, a large simple arrow for the minutes, and a serpentine hand for the seconds.
The Regulator has been at the heart of Louis Erard’s collections since the brand’s relaunch in 2003 but this is the first time Alain Silberstein has made a regulator in a career spanning over 40 years.
These new limited editions mark a turn in the brand’s strategy. The focus is now on the brand’s independence, its dedication to excellence, and its wish to produce accessible timepieces.
The first edition comes in a 40mm stainless steel case, while the second comes in a 40mm black PVD case. Both are limited to 178 pieces. The timepieces are powered by a manual-winding regulator with a 42-hour power reserve.
