Limited edition of 12 pieces
The very last LM2 series in red gold with a striking blue dial from MB&F.
The Legacy Machine No.2 first launched in 2013. This new series is the very last version MB&F are going to be creating in red gold. It features a deep-blue colored dial that is achieved using a chemical vapor deposition technique, CVP for short.
The LM2 Red Gold Blue includes dual “flying” balance wheels secured with the second-generation of bridges that are found on the latest LM2 editions. The two fully independent regulating systems beat at their own rate and are averaged out by a planetary differential.
The movement was conceived for MB&F by two of the most renowned master watchmakers: Jean-François Mojon and Kari Voutilainen.
The LM2 was created as a tribute to some of the greatest watchmakers of all time: Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823), Ferdinand Berthoud (1727-1807) and Antide Janvier (1751-1835) who are recognized for their experimentation with dual regulators. It also pays homage to watchmaker Philippe Dufour, the creator of the “Duality”, the first wristwatch to feature dual regulators and a differential. The LM2 Red Gold Blue is limited to 12 pieces.
