Breguet has introduced a new model, the 3358, to its Classique Tourbillon series, showcasing a dazzling dial and sophisticated watchmaking.
The 35 mm rose gold casing encircles a dial that is embellished with 281 diamonds. These diamonds create graceful arcs between the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, and those within the chapter ring employ the snow-setting technique for placement.
At the 12 o’clock position, the chapter ring is made of natural white mother-of-pearl. The design aligns the Arabic numerals and hands with the unique stylistic principles established by Breguet’s founder. The tourbillon, prominently situated at the lower part of the dial, sits within an elegantly curved and polished oval aperture, and is accented with a curved gold bar that is set with 14 diamonds. The sapphire case-back provides a view for the owner to appreciate the hand-engraved, hammered detailing.
The tourbillon’s intricate workings are highlighted by components that present a play of grey and pink hues for contrast. In addition, both the bezel and lugs are adorned with diamonds, as is the crown, which is topped with a rose-cut diamond.
The hand-wound calibre 187D operates at 2.5 Hz, provides a 50-hour power reserve, and is recognized for its durability and accuracy, featuring a steel Breguet balance spring with a Breguet terminal curve. The watch comes with crimson-red glossy alligator leather straps and has a 30-meter water resistance.
