Charriol Watches

Initially founded in 1983 by Philippe Charriol – an entrepreneur with a daring spirit – the eponymous brand has created a network of more than 250 boutiques worldwide and focuses on fashion-forward watches, jewelry, and accessories.  Perhaps best known for its cable jewelry (and watch bracelets), the brand’s Swiss-made watches are avant-garde, whimsical, and boldly distinctive.  Inspired by the Mediterranean, Charriol watch collections include St. Tropez, Celtic, Colvmbvs, and more.

History of Charriol

A lifestyle brand offering timepieces, jewelry, and accessories (fragrance, sunglasses, leather goods), Charriol is a family-owned and operated company based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 1983 by French entrepreneur Philippe Charriol, the company’s signature color is purple, and the cable is one of the icons of its jewelry and watches.

Philippe Charriol’s children and spouse are all involved in the company. His son Alexandre Charriol is the Visual Director, his daughter Coralie Charriol is the Creative Director, and his wife Marie-Olga Charriol is the PR Director.

Unfortunately, Philippe Charriol passed away on the 27th of February 2019, while piloting his race car on the Circuit Paul Richard, home of the 2018 French Grand Prix Formula 1. The company is today run by a long time management team with Coralie Charriol as Chairwoman.
