Limited edition of 50 pieces
Dial with lamé finish made for Czapek by Metalem.
Available with a rubber or alligator strap.
Czapek & Cie unveiled its latest offering, the Antarctique Mount Erebus Deep Blue in 2024, in response to strong demand from watch enthusiasts and collectors. This marks the brand’s first venture into a gold case for the Antarctique series, catering to a specific segment of collectors.
The inspiration for this timepiece stems from the geography of Antarctica, particularly the iconic Mount Erebus, known for its unique gold-laden lava. The watch features a lamé dial, reminiscent of the original Antarctique Terre Adélie edition, created using a specialized combing technique in collaboration with Metalem. The deep blue color of the dial is achieved through a sophisticated CVD technique, adding to the uniqueness of the timepiece.
The gold case, available in either 5N rose gold or 2N yellow gold versions, maintains the distinctive design elements of the Antarctique series, with meticulous attention to detail in the brushed and polished surfaces, flowing curves, and finely honed angles.
Limited to 100 pieces for the rose gold version and 50 pieces for the yellow gold variant, the Antarctique Mount Erebus Deep Blue is available on a matching gold bracelet or a blue rubber or alligator strap. Pre-orders are available through authorized dealers worldwide, Czapek’s flagship store in Geneva, and online channels.
