Delma introduces a new Shell Star Bronze Limited Edition with five different versions.

The brand’s first professional divers’ watch

The Delma Shell Star was first launched in 1975 and was the brand’s first professional divers’ watch and established Delma as a reliable source for professional diving timepieces.

The design

The design of these new models is inspired by the original model from 1975. Two of the versions come with a blue dial, two with a green dial and one with a brown dial, all limited to 500 pieces each. They all come with distressed leather straps with stitched accents in brown, green or blue depending on the model.

Bronze watch cases

The 44mm cases and rotating bezels are made from CUSN6 superior grade bronze. They are anti-magnetic and resistant to corrosion and feature a stainless steel case back.

The Brand

Delma is a family-owned company from Lengnau, Switzerland that was started in the 1920s by brothers Albert and Adolf Gilomen. They saw the opportunity for a new watch brand following the arrival of the wristwatch and a new way of wearing timepieces. In the 1940s they started developing new lines of sports watches and professional diving timepieces. In 1966, the company was renamed Delma Watch Ltd after one of four initial models. Today Delma is still family-owned and operated by Fred Leibundgut, who is committed to continuing the Delma tradition.
