The Brand

Girard-Perregaux

The origins of Girard-Perregaux date back to 1791, but the name Girard-Perregaux wasn’t registered until 1856. In 1992 the brand was taken over by former car racing driver Luigi Macaluso who built the brand into a true manufacture. Iconic pieces include its tourbillon with three gold bridges and its constant force escapement collection. Girard-Perregaux is today part of the Sowind Group, a subsidiary of Kering.
