Glashütte Original unveils its fifth collection the “Specialist”, launching with two editions – the SeaQ and the SeaQ Panorama Date.
The SeaQ is inspired by the brand’s historic, 50-year old, Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 timepiece that was designed specifically for divers.
The SeaQ Panoramic Date is available with a choice of a blue or black dial, both featuring a date at 4 o’clock and a case size of 43.2 mm. The two other SeaQ models in this launch come in both a limited (SeaQ 1969, limited to 69 pieces) and an unlimited version. The sizes are 39.5 mm for the SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ Series models.
The SeaQ Panorama Date is water-resistant to 300 meters, while the SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ are water-resistant to 200 meters.
As genuine divers’ watches, they all feature unidirectional, counter-clockwise, rotating bezels that have a distinctive click when turned.
The SeaQ Panorama Date is fitted with the Caliber 36 and comes with a 100-hour power reserve, while The SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ are powered by the manufacture’s automatic Caliber 39-11 that comes with a heavy metal oscillating mass and a 40-hour power reserve
