Glashütte Original unveils its fifth collection the “Specialist”, launching with two editions – the SeaQ and the SeaQ Panorama Date.
The SeaQ is inspired by the brand’s historic, 50-year old, Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 timepiece that was designed specifically for divers
The SeaQ comes in both a limited (SeaQ 1969, limited to 69 pieces) and an unlimited version, while the SeaQ Panoramic Date is available with a choice of a blue or black dial. The sizes are 39.5 mm for the SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ models, and 43.2 mm for the SeaQ Panorama Date.
The SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ are water-resistant to 200 meters, while the SeaQ Panorama Date is water-resistant to 300 meters.
As genuine divers’ watches, they all feature unidirectional, counter-clockwise, rotating bezels that have a distinctive click when turned.
The SeaQ 1969 and SeaQ are powered by the manufacture’s automatic Caliber 39-11 that comes with a heavy metal oscillating mass and a 40-hour power reserve, while the SeaQ Panorama Date is fitted with the Caliber 36 and comes with a 100-hour power reserve.
