H. Moser & Cie. draws inspiration from vintage watches produced by its founder Heinrich Moser in the creation of a new Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue.

Inspirations

The H. Moser & Cie Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue takes its inspiration from pocket watches from the early 1920s that were transformed into wristwatches using fine attachments, but also by the vintage timepieces created by Heinrich Moser, founder of the brand.

Globolight®

While the Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue has a vintage theme, it also has a resolutely contemporary character thanks to the use of innovative materials. One such material is Globolight®, a ceramic compound that is injected with SuperLumiNova® that can take any form or color and offers exceptional luminescence.

The case

The 42mm case of the Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue comes in stainless steel with tapered lugs, a notched crown, and an exhibition sapphire crystal case back.

The dial

The dial of the timepiece comes in an eye-catching electric blue that the brand refers to as “Smoky Blue”. This is one of the most popular colors for H. Moser & Cie. and can be found on several timepieces in their collection. This particular version is paired with a traditional white railway-style minute track for contrast, along with with oversized appliqué Arabic numerals and sword-shaped hands.

The movement

The H. Moser Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue is powered by the HMC 200 movement which was designed, developed and produced in-house and features a regulating organ manufactured by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. The caliber features the famous Moser double stripes and has a power reserve of three days.
