The Cape Cod Collection by Hermès receives a brand-new strap with a double tour and the brand’s iconic Anchor Chain motif.
The Cape Cod Collection was designed by Henri d’Origny and unveiled in 1991. This contemporary timepiece was unique in that it presented a square inside a rectangle.
The Cape Cod likes to play with the Anchor Chain motif and a close look reveals two half-links that form the case. This motif was created by Robert Dumas in 1938 and is now repeated onto the leather strap. The second loop of the strap now features the anchor link pattern in the leather, offering a new and feminine look.
There are two models: A large model at 29 x 29mm and a small model at 23 x 23mm. Both come in a 316L stainless steel case and are fitted with an opaline silvered dial with silver-powdered transferred Arabic numerals in a dark-gray frame, and rhodium-plated hands. They come equipped with a quartz movement.
The choice of calfskin straps is as follows: Swift deep blue calf, Swift amber calf, Swift extreme pink calf and black Barenia calf.
