The Slim d’Hermès Flagship is a masterpiece of metiers d’Arts, where know-how meets poetic storytelling. In true Hermès fashion, this limited edition watch, with only 12 pieces available, pays homage to the brand’s iconic roots. The dial, a striking mix of miniature painting and engraving, captures the majestic Hermès ship sailing beneath a starry aventurine sky. Its hull, inspired by the legendary Parisian boutique at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, is brought to life by skilled artisans, reflecting the whimsical elegance for which Hermès is known.
Created by Philippe Delhotal in 2015, the Slim d’Hermès embodies the delicate balance of modernity and timelessness, drawing inspiration from Dimitri Rybaltchenko’s famed silk scarf design. The yellow gold case, at 39.5mm, houses the self-winding H1950 movement, while a deep abyss blue alligator strap mirrors the maritime charm of the dial. With intricate layers of miniature painting and hand-engraved details, the Slim d’Hermès Flagship weaves together artistry, tradition, and a hint of celestial magic. A mischievous star at 4 o’clock reminds the wearer of the playful spirit at the heart of Hermès.
