HYT is an official partner of The Watch Pages

HYT has joined forces with Mr. Porter, a global retail destination, to create a special timepiece available only on the Mr. Porter website

A new Partnership between HYT and Mr. Porter

Fun things happen when two creative minds get together as can be seen in this new collaboration between HYT and Mr. Porter, which has resulted in a stealthy looking black and white H1.0 with fiery-red details on the dial and the side of the case.

Reading the time

The time is indicated at the junction of two fluids that flow inside a glass capillary tube – one black and one transparent – that advance with the passage of time. This is HYT’s exclusive patented micro-fluidic module that is at the heart of each HYT timepiece. The module is made up of borosilicate glass capillary featuring a nano-coating on the inside, two multi-layer bellows, a thermal compensator, and high-tech ceramic fluidic restrictors to ensure utmost precision at all times.

The HYT H1.0

The HYT H1.0 X Mr. Porter edition comes in a 48.8mm stainless steel case with a black DLC coating and satin finish. The hours are indicated via the fluid, while the minutes are shown on a subdial at 12 o’clock. The seconds are shown in a small second wheel at 10 o’clock and a power reserve indicator is directly opposite at two o’clock. The dial is adorned with different-colored SuperLuminova¬ģ for excellent legibility at night. It is water-resistant to 50 meters and is fitted with a black rubber strap and titanium folding buckle, also coated in black DLC.

The Brand

HYT Watches was launched in 2012 in the Swiss watchmaking region of Neuch√Ętel with a revolutionary new way of reading the time using liquid. Colored liquid moves through glass capillaries to indicate the hours and minutes. HYT stands for “The Hydro Technology”, using hydro technology, the first hybrid technology of its kind in a wristwatch.
