The Junghans Meister Telemeter finds its inspiration in the world of motor racing and is based on the brand’s classical chronograph from 1951.
The summer of 2019 and Junghans celebrated its third year as “Official Timekeeper of the 47th AvD-Oldtimer Grand Prix 2019” with this new timepiece. The event took place at the Nürburgring race track, the longest racing circuit in the world, and known for its legendary “North Loop”. The winner of the “Gentlemen Drivers – GT up to 1965” Race was presented with the Junghans Meister Telemeter.
It comes in a 40.8mm stainless steel case with plexiglass, like in the original, although a sapphire crystal is available on request. The timepiece is powered by the automatic J880.3 Caliber with a power reserve of 42 hours. It features a stop second, a 30-minute counter, a tachymeter, and a telemeter scale. The matt silver-plated dial has luminescent hands and numerals made with environmentally-friendly SuperLumiNova®.
