Picture a watch that cradles the first traces of life found in the universe. A silent guardian of the stars, STARMAN lives up to its destined name, blending cosmic wonder with horological mastery.

At the heart of STARMAN lies the Jbilet Winselwan fragment, gracefully positioned alongside a captivating tourbillon on the dial. This black, speckled meteorite was unearthed in the western Sahara Desert, a silent testament to the origins of life scattered across the universe.

The dial itself is a marvel. It features a Gibeon meteorite base, known for its striking Widmanstätten pattern, dyed deep blue through a proprietary process. A sapphire crystal disc overlays the base with a detailed star map. Hand-painted constellations, illuminated with luminescent material, add a celestial charm against the mapped sky’s grid lines. As night falls, STARMAN unveils a stunning cosmic display, with luminous blue hands and indexes enhancing the otherworldly experience.

Flipping the Louis Moinet STARMAN reveals another masterpiece: a hand-painted solar map. Each planet, no bigger than two millimeters, appears suspended over a starry backdrop, accurately aligned to match the solar system’s configuration on March 21, 2013. This date marks a historic milestone when Louis Moinet, a pioneering watchmaker, was recognized as the inventor of the chronograph—a revelation that took place at the Neuchâtel Observatory.

STARMAN’s watchmaking brilliance is highlighted by its off-center flying tourbillon, which defies gravity and adds a dynamic elegance. The watch’s hand-wound movement boasts two barrels working in parallel, a unique “volte face” system that ensures a 96-hour power reserve. Made from 18-carat gold, the case is a bold blend of brushed and polished finishes, accentuated by a sophisticated stepped bezel.

Limited to just twelve pieces in each version—18-carat red gold and 18-carat white gold—STARMAN is a rare tribute to the mysteries of the cosmos and the legacy of Louis Moinet, ensuring this cosmic journey will inspire for generations to come.
