MB&F Horological Machine N°10 aka the “Bulldog”
Just like a dog is said to choose his owner and not the other way around, the same can be said about watches. Remember your last watch purchase and I am sure “The One” spoke to you directly. The HM10 is once again a testament to how the MB&F brand thinks outside the box and brings dreams to reality, one mind-blowing watch after the other.
The HM10 is oval in shape with a red gold and titanium case measuring 45mm across and 54mm from nose to tail. Not for the faint-hearted but it fits surprisingly well on the wrist. There are two cone-shaped domes at the front of the case resembling the bulldog’s black eyes, the left dome indicates the hours and the right the minutes. Visible through the domed sapphire glass is the dog’s jaws with teeth bared. The teeth indicate the 45 hour power reserve through the opening and closing of the jaws, fully open meaning that the watch is fully wound. Two crowns are accentuated at the rear of the case for winding and time-setting. The lugs of the watch that connect the case to the strap are moveable and allow the case to fit closely around the wrist.
The HM10 Bulldog comes with a manual-winding movement or engine as MB&F calls it. Designed and developed in-house using the technical expertise that they have built up over the years.
The HM10 is also available in a titanium version with blue hour and minute domes.
