For the 2024 winter season, Perrelet has introduced a new model in their collection of men’s dress watches: the WEEKEND SKELETON. This piece features a skeletonized movement, a first for this line. The watch retains key features, such as a 39.5mm steel case with a thin profile (9.61mm) and water resistance up to 5 ATM. The polished and brushed steel case now sports a matt black PVD coating, enhancing the appeal of the skeleton movement visible through the anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The movement at the heart of the WEEKEND SKELETON is the newly developed in-house P-351-SQ automatic calibre. It’s a slim (3.6mm) skeleton movement, beating at a high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is displayed on both the front and back of the watch, thanks to a transparent case back secured by four screws.
The dial is minimalistic, with skeletonized elements forming the primary design focus. The baton hour markers and central seconds hand come in three color variations: black, electric blue, and emerald green. Rhodium-plated hands, filled with white Super-LumiNova®, ensure legibility in all lighting conditions.
