It’s been ten years since SEVENFRIDAY launched the M-Series, a design that has achieved iconic status and remains as popular today as it was at its debut. This year, SEVENFRIDAY revisits this classic with the introduction of the ME-Series.
Originally released in 2014, the M-Series was notable for its disk reading system, 47mm size, and intricate details, quickly winning over design enthusiasts. Inspired by Raymond Loewy, a pioneer in industrial design known for his ‘Most Advanced Yet Acceptable’ (MAYA) principle, SEVENFRIDAY’s head designer, Arnaud, has infused this philosophy into the ME-Series.
The ME-Series continues SEVENFRIDAY’s tradition of retro-futuristic industrial design, featuring a more compact 44mm case with a sleek, aerodynamic shape. New features include a butterfly clasp on a leather band, a silicone grip crown, and three cut-out sapphire glass pieces that enhance its modern look. Despite these updates, the ME-Series retains the familiar disk system from the M-Series, balancing innovation with familiarity.
The ME-Series is available in two variations: one in stainless steel with blue lacquer accents and another with gold PVD and green lacquer details, each available on either a matching leather strap for a steel Milanese bracelet
