Zenith and Phillips join forces in the fight against childhood cancer
Zenith and Philipps in Association with Bacs & Russo have created a one-off El Primero chronograph in platinum that will be auctioned in Geneva on 9-10 November to raise funds for Zoe4Life, a Swiss non-profit organization that is part of the Childhood Cancer International network.
This unique El Primero chronograph in platinum was designed by Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Zenith’s El Primero automatic movement and to raise much-needed funds for Zoe4Life, a Swiss non-profit organization that is part of the Childhood Cancer International network.
This is the first time that the auction house has been involved in the design of a timepiece.
This is the also the first and only time the El Primero A386 will be crafted in platinum, making it even more unique.
Another first: The El Primero timepiece features a lapis lazuli dial, a precious stone that is appreciated for its vivid blue color and flecks of gold.
The Geneva Watch Auction X will take place at La Reserve Hotel on the 9th and 10th November, with the timepiece available for viewing on the 8th.
