Ebel Watches

Ebel is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 1911 by Eugene Blum and Alice Levy. The brand quickly gained recognition for its high-quality and innovative watches, which combined traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques with modern design elements.

In the 1930s, Ebel introduced its first sports watch, designed for pilots and featuring a large, easy-to-read dial and chronograph functions. The brand continued to innovate throughout the 20th century, releasing a range of watches with unique and unconventional designs, such as the “Wave” collection, which featured a curved bracelet and case inspired by the movement of ocean waves.

In 1970, Ebel introduced the “Sport Classic” collection, which became one of the brand’s most iconic and enduring designs. This collection featured a bold, rectangular case with rounded corners and a bracelet with alternating links of brushed and polished steel.

Over the years, Ebel has been associated with a number of high-profile events and individuals. The brand was chosen as the official timekeeper for the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck and has also been worn by celebrities such as Kobe Bryant and Victoria Beckham.
