Each timepiece in the Nomos Metro 33 collection tells a different city story. Every part of the Metro 33 watches, from the glass to the strap, has been thoughtfully designed. Notable features such as the intricate double-curved sapphire crystal glass, wire lugs with quick-change spring bars, and a signature Metro crown adorned with diamond knurling are testaments to impeccable Glashütte craftsmanship. Playful details like colorful hands add a fun touch, like the pink and yellow second hands and minute markers, showing Braun’s ability to combine traditional style with modern charm.
Mark Braun, the designer, on the new versions of Metro: “These three smaller models successfully express what my original Metro was able to express for me in 2014. For me, they are what I understand by contemporary elegance: smart, playful, and full of energy.”
The Metro 33 series is a symphony of thoughtful details and color combinations. Each version, whether it be the muted red with pink accents, the sage, or the silver dial, is paired with a light gray vegan velour leather strap. The diamond knurling on the crown, borrowed from the textures found on watchmaking tools, adds a subtle yet captivating touch, ensuring functionality is beautifully intertwined with form.
