This evolution exists in adding new materials and technology, pushing the established, expert collection to style-forward and compact places. DELMA’s ambassador, Ocean Conservationist Magnus Lundborg, has this to say about the new Shell Star Titanium:

DELMA Adds More Than Just Titanium to the Shell Star Collection
DELMA has taken the Shell Star from its original and masterful design to a lighter—weighing only 136 grams—and brighter evolution using titanium. Its brushed titanium case and bracelet are corrosion-resistant and contrast beautifully against the scratch-resistant, unidirectional black ceramic bezel and blue Super-LumiNova luminous bezel markers.
Adding more contrast and style through color, DELMA has not only given the Shell Star Titanium green Super-LumiNova luminous hands and indexes for improved legibility, but the sand-textured dial is available in three colors: black, orange, or blue. The DELMA Shell Star signature railway track still borders the dial, matching the dial, date window, and accents in carefully-considered color. Alongside all these standout details comes the Shell Star collection’s signature seconds hand, its spade shape streamlined to highlight its larger, glowing pointer. All this creates the perfect timepiece for any diver looking for style and expertise in the depths.
The Precision and Ingenuity of the New Shell Star Titanium
With much design consideration and decades of experience, DELMA has created a compact titanium diving watch that hasn’t sacrificed precision or design for size. At 41mm wide and only 13.6mm thick, the new limited edition Shell Star Titanium is a timepiece that any of only 499 divers would be lucky to own, for the eye-catching and compact design still makes for a functional and expert timepiece.
The DELMA customized rotor is visible behind a transparent portal, showing the SW200-1 automatic movement, a self-winding mechanism with a power reserve of 38 hours. The Shell Star Titanium is water-resistant up to 500m, firmly cementing DELMA’s Shell Star as the ultimate diving companion.
