Armin StromDual Time Resonance Manufacture Edition TitaniumLoading price
Armin Strom has introduced a new version of the Mirrored Force Resonance, this time with a vivid red off-center dial cut on a traditional hand-operated rose engine lathe. The radiating guilloché pattern animates the surface with shifting reflections, while black azuré chapter rings frame the dial and sharpen both depth and legibility. Faceted hour markers mounted on the azuré rings float just above the guilloché, visually connecting the two elements. On the left side of the dial, two independent balance wheels oscillate in opposite directions, synchronized through Armin Strom’s patented Resonance Clutch, their motion mirrored by twin seconds displays against anthracite-coated bridges. The 43 mm stainless steel case comes on a grey Alcantara strap, keeping the dial and the resonance mechanism at the center of attention.
The in-house Calibre ARF21 houses two complete, independent movements within a single caliber, each with its own barrel, gear train, escapement, and regulating organ. The Resonance Clutch continuously exchanges the vibrations of the two balance wheels, allowing them to enter and maintain harmonic resonance, which improves chronometric stability and rate consistency over time. A pusher at 2 o’clock resets both seconds hands to zero simultaneously, letting the wearer observe the synchrony of the two movements. The caliber runs at 3.5 Hz with a 48-hour power reserve.
Visible through sapphire crystals on both sides, the movement features hand-polished bevels, frosted surfaces, perlage, circular graining, and black-polished screws, with technical inscriptions rendered in three-dimensional relief on the main plate. Each watch is assembled twice, and production is limited to 15 pieces worldwide.
