Bianchet has expanded its Rotondo UltraFino collection with a rose gold execution, bringing the warmth of precious metal to the brand’s ultra-thin flying tourbillon architecture. The Rotondo UltraFino Rose Gold retains the technical foundation established by the titanium original while introducing a heightened sense of contrast, setting the glow of 18K rose gold against black PVD-treated Grade 5 titanium in a case that maintains a slim profile of just 8.9mm.
At the heart of the watch is the Bianchet calibre UR01, an automatic flying tourbillon movement constructed entirely in Grade 5 titanium. The complete movement weighs under 8 grams and measures only 3.85mm in height, yet it is engineered to withstand shocks of up to 5,000 G. A solid 18K rose gold rotor drives the winding system, its warm tone visible through the skeletonized architecture, while black PVD treatment on the bridges and main structure deepens the monochrome character at the core of the design. The finishing is haute horlogerie in the traditional sense, with more than 30 hours of hand bevelling devoted to the bridges alone.
The case expresses Bianchet’s founding principle of Form Above All, its flowing surfaces interrupted by precise linear facets and punctuated by the black rubber gasket beneath the bezel, a detail found on every Bianchet timepiece. A black lacquered crown completes the composition. An integrated quick-release system offers two configurations: a rose gold bracelet with an additional black rubber strap.
