KLOK 08 Sixties

In 2017, Klokers unveiled the KLOK 08, a watch designed for both men and women, paying homage to the vibrant and transformative 1960s. This era, known for its bold pop art, design, and fashion, significantly influenced the style of KLOK 08s. The watch embodies the geometric and rounded aesthetics characteristic of the Space Age, featuring a hemispheric case that captures the essence of the 1960s design.

The KLOK 08 features the unique Klokers key, a patented attachment system. This innovative design allows for easy detachment of the watch case from the strap, offering the flexibility to change straps according to personal style and mood. This interchangeability transforms the KLOK 08 into a versatile and timeless accessory for everyday wear.

Time-telling in the KLOK 08 is achieved through three rotating rings for hours, minutes, and seconds, with time read at the 12 o’clock position marked by a vertical line. The watch’s interior boasts a Cyclops-type device on the mineral crystal, slightly magnifying the numbers for easier reading. While the minute track has 60 lines for each minute, the watch is often more conveniently read in 15-minute intervals, though closer inspection allows for more precise time determination.

The stainless steel case, 39mm wide and 10mm high, is surprisingly light and comfortable. It is powered by a Quartz movement from Ronda, a Swiss manufacturer known for its quality quartz movements. The design is unisex and appealing to all with its various color schemes and strap options.
