Tetra 27 duo

The Tetra 27 duo from NOMOS Glashütte makes a persuasive case that fine watchmaking has nothing to do with size. Measuring 27.5 millimeters on each side, this square, hand-wound watch is among the most compact models in the NOMOS collection, sitting naturally on smaller wrists while making a deliberate style statement on larger ones. Like every Tetra, it is framed by a narrow stainless steel case and distinguished by delicately double-stepped lugs that carry an echo of Art Deco.

The dial is where the geometry of the case finds its answer. Time is reduced to the essentials: two temperature-blued hands indicate the hours and minutes against a white silver-plated dial, where a light gray square marks the center and a matching gray field frames the minute track. The effect is quiet, precise, and unmistakably NOMOS, a study in proportion carried through from case to dial.

Inside is the hand-wound mechanical caliber DUW 4001 duo, built by NOMOS in Glashütte and equipped with the in-house NOMOS swing system. It delivers a power reserve of approximately 53 hours and can be admired through the optional sapphire crystal back. Announced on July 16, 2026, the Tetra 27 duo joins the Tetra 27 white in expanding a family that already includes stainless steel and 18-karat gold models.
