The DD-45 “Factory Fresh” is a modern interpretation of what a Dirty Dozen watch would have looked like fresh off the production line of any of the twelve manufacturers in 1944-45. It features crisp white Super Luminova indexes and hands paired with a textured black dial, providing the same high legibility as the originals did when they were first delivered from Switzerland during World War II.
Designed as a tribute to the original Dirty Dozen watches commissioned by the British War Office to standardize high-performance field watches for the British Army, the DD-45 surpasses the original specifications, bringing it into the 21st century. Originally designed to be “waterproof,” the DD-45 modernizes these requirements with a 10ATM water resistance rating and a screw-down crown, ensuring it remains secure in wet conditions. The double-domed sapphire crystal offers best-in-class scratch resistance.
Honoring the historical origins of these watches, which were produced by twelve different manufacturers in Switzerland, each version is equipped with the Landeron L24 Swiss-Made movement. This movement features a frequency of 28,800 BHP and includes 25 jewels, providing a smooth second-hand movement and high precision. The DD-45 is made to be robust and reliable, suitable for use in any conditions.
