Antarctique Ice Cloud S

The Antarctique S Ice Cloud captures the look of soft clouds drifting across a cool blue sky. Its dial is made from white mother-of-pearl and decorated using a rare technique known as nacre brouillée. A blue-tinted varnish is applied by hand to the underside of the dial, forming gentle, cloud-like patterns. The result is light, airy, and full of depth, with subtle changes in tone depending on the angle of the light.

The work behind this effect is highly skilled. The mother-of-pearl is first thinned down to just 0.2mm, making it extremely delicate. The varnish must be applied with perfect balance; too much can affect the fit of the dial, too little and the cloud effect disappears. Once the desired look is achieved, the dial is heated to permanently set the design. Only one specialist is able to perform this technique, adding to the watch’s rarity. Just 10 pieces are being produced.

The Ice Cloud comes in a 38.5mm stainless steel case and is powered by the in-house Calibre SXH5. The movement features a platinum micro-rotor, beautifully finished bridges, and a 60-hour power reserve.
