NORQAIN leans into its adventurous spirit with the Wild ONE Meteorite Special Edition, a watch that combine s modern engineering with a genuine piece of outer space. It’s the brand’s first model to use meteorite, and the result feels both ambitious and natural for a company that has spent the last few years carving out its own corner of independent Swiss watchmaking. The Wild ONE concept, created with Jean Claude Biver, remains the backbone: a lightweight, ultra-robust case made from just 25 parts and built around NORTEQ, the brand’s proprietary carbon-based material.

For this edition, NORQAIN puts the meteorite dial centre stage. Each slice of iron meteorite carries its own Widmanstätten pattern, a crystalline texture formed as metallic asteroids cool over millions of years. No two dials look alike. Set inside a 42 millimetre burgundy NORTEQ case, the interplay of colour and texture gives the watch a bold, almost elemental presence. NORTEQ’s lightness, which is far lighter than steel or titanium, coupled with its ability to take on rich colours give the piece a modern, technical edge, while the meteorite supplies the wonder.

Inside, the COSC-certified NN20/1 calibre by Kenissi keeps the watch grounded in serious mechanics, complete with NORQAIN’s engraved values and a customised rotor. The watch also carries small personal touches: a burgundy plate on the case flank that can be engraved, a sapphire case back marked “Special Edition, Meteorite”, and a limited production of just 300 pieces for 2025.
