Alpina celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2023 by revealing two special vintage watches with a classic hand-wound movement from 1938, each limited to just 14 pieces. They have now introduced two more versions with modern self-winding movements, keeping the vintage style alive. These watches, aptly named the Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years, echo the Art Déco era with their minimalist design and original Alpina logo. They pay tribute to the brand’s history while embracing modern technology.
These new watches continue the legacy of the 1938 model, combining elegance and innovation. The original limited series inspired their design, now updated for modern life. The case has been slightly enlarged and is made of stainless steel with sapphire glass. The self-winding mechanical movement ensures accuracy and has a 38-hour power reserve.
Both versions of the Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years feature hours, minutes, and small seconds. One has a black dial and beige hands, while the other has a silver dial with black hands. Each has its own unique style, reflecting the brand’s commitment to timeless elegance and innovation over its 140-year history.
