Ikepod introduced its dive watch called the Seapod in 2021. This watch follows in the footsteps of Ikepod’s earlier aquatic-oriented watch, the Seaslug, which was part of the brand’s original 1994 lineup. The Seapod retains some design elements from the Seaslug while giving it a fresh Ikepod twist. The Seapod features a pebble-shaped stainless steel case with an integrated rotatable bezel. It comes in seven models: three with brushed stainless steel cases and black bezel markings, three in bronze and one with a black PVD case and luminescent bezel markings.

One significant design similarity between the original Seaslug and the Seapod is the sandwich dial’s hour markers, which consist of 3D colored dots on a dark background, allowing the lume to shine through. The outer flange of the dial has a minute ring with 5-minute increments and minute markers. The watch’s hands are familiar in design, and while the hour and minute hands have luminous material with colored outlines, the seconds hand is solid in color, coming in orange, blue, or white variations depending on the model.

The Seapod has a slightly recessed crown when screwed down, and it houses a Miyota 9039 Automatic movement. This movement provides the functions of hours, minutes, and seconds, with a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch has a soft silicone strap in bright blue or black, but bracelets are also available. Despite its 46mm case size, the absence of lugs allows the straps to tuck in under the bezel, making the watch wear smaller than its size might suggest. The Seapod boasts a 200m depth rating for adequate water resistance.
