Few things in life are as exhilarating and liberating as riding a motorcycle along an open road with the wind in your hair and the sound of the engine roaring in your ears.
Today, there are strong similarities between motorcycles and timepieces, as both celebrate mechanics, moving parts, and gears. And let’s be honest, you can’t really pop out your iPhone for a quick peek at the time while cruising along on your favorite mountain road.
So what are the best watches for motorcycle riders? There are many watch companies involved in some way with motorcycles – here are a few of our favorite biker watches.

On the dial, the XXL-size numerals and hands mean you only need a quick glance to see the time. The oversized onion-type crown and large chronograph pushers can be accessed with or with your gloves on. The watch is housed in a 45mm aged steel case matched with a black oily nubuck leather strap. Throw on your leather jacket – this is a watch that matches just about any motorcycle you ride.

The 42mm case is in stainless steel with a screwed in sapphire crystal caseback, with the Norton logo engraved on a plate on the left side of the case. Tissot and MotoGP™ have been collaborating for close to 20 years. Tissot is the official timekeeper of the MotoGP and sponsors several MotoGP riders. The 2020 Tissot T-Race MotoGP Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition features a 45mm stainless steel case with black PVD coating and a MotoGP engraved caseback. It comes with an embossed cow leather strap with rubber inner lining. With its aggressive and racy look, Tissot wanted this watch to be as close to a motorcycle as possible. Carl F. Bucherer & Harley Davidson – $ 1.8 million
Bucherer and Bünderbike got together and produced the most expensive motorcycle in the world – the Carl F. Bucherer custom made watch is included in the price. The motorcycle is loosely based on Harley Davidson’s Softail Slim S model, and the watch is based on the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec II. The Harley-Davidson Blue Edition took a team of 8 over 2,500 hours to produce. What you notice first is the intense blue color, which was achieved by first silver-plating the bike, then applying 6 color coats using a secret method. A six-prong Heaven solitaire ring with a 5.40-carat diamond sits alongside the Carl F Bucherer watch, both protected underneath the armored glass dome in a retractable safe. A definite biker watch as you have to buy the motorcycle to get the watch!
Azimuth Crazy Rider – $5,400
Azimuth has not partnered with a motorcycle brand but they make the list for best watches for motorcycle lovers as they actually constructed the watch to resemble a motorcycle engine. Inspired by the winding interstates of the U.S. highway system and the Harley Fat Boy, the 55mm X 38mm case is asymmetrical and shaped like an infinity symbol. The Crazy Rider is fitted with a porthole style bezel with visible screws. A miniature chain circles the center of the dial, aided by open-worked wheels at both ends, mimicking the look of a motorcycle’s sprocket brake drive system. The chain transmission design drives both the hour and minute display. The hour hand is the shorter one and it travels along the entire dial displaying a 24-hour scale while the minute hand rotates in a fixed position on the right side. The red and yellow markers contribute to a retro biker vibe. Paired with a sporty leather strap with contrast stitching the Crazy rider is available black PVD, brown PVD with a titanium, or black PVD bezel.
