History of Arnold & Son
John Arnold was a British watchmaker (1736-1799) whose technical skills enabled the quantity production of marine chronometers. He also played a central role in addressing the problem of longitude. The brand was relaunched in 1995 in Swizerland’s La Chaux-de-Fonds and by 2010 is a fully integrated manufacture developing and producing its own in-house movements.
