2 – Graff Fascination – $40 million

Graff comes in second position for the most expensive timepiece of all time with its Fascination watch that is set with 152.96 carats of white diamonds, including a central 38.13-carat fancy-cut, pear-shaped diamond of D Flawless quality. It is this diamond that hides the watch dial and it can also be removed and worn as a ring. These kinds of watches are often called secret watches as the time can be hidden underneath a cover, or in the case, a huge diamond. The idea is that a lady can secretly check the time without others noticing that she is looking at her watch, which could be considered impolite.
