Arnold & Son has introduced Baltic amber, also known as ‘tiger’ amber, into their collection, marking a first in the watchmaking industry. This unique material, with its rich moiré yellow color, enhances the dial of their iconic double tourbillon watch. The amber, which is fossilized resin from plants that lived 44 million years ago, adds a distinct softness and texture, complementing the white gold case, skeletonized bridges, and white opal hour dials.
The Double Tourbillon White Gold Amber Edition features two tourbillons. It displays local time on the dial at 12 o’clock and another time zone at 6 o’clock. Each dial shows hours and minutes independently, allowing for precise timekeeping across different regions. The watch is powered by the A&S8513 calibre, equipped with two barrels, two crowns, and two time zones.
Featuring a convex sapphire crystal, skeletonized bridges in white gold, and sophisticated finishes such as radiating Côtes de Genève stripes, circular-grained mainplate, double-snailed barrels, sunray-brushed crown wheels, and polished gold chatons. The tourbillon bridges feature bevelling, satin-finishing, and mirror-polishing, demonstrating Arnold & Son’s commitment to excellence.
