Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin

Audemars Piguet unveiled two new limited-edition versions of its 39 mm Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin watch. The first model, seen here, is made of 18-carat white gold and adorned with 1,528 brilliant-cut diamonds, while the second combines 18-carat yellow gold with brilliant-cut yellow sapphires. Both watches feature the self-winding Calibre 7121, introduced in 2022 for the Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary. These variations build upon the 2018 Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin model.

The white gold version boasts approximately 8.3 carats of diamonds covering the case, bezel, dial, and bracelet. Meanwhile, the yellow gold model is entirely covered in yellow sapphires, totaling around 10.4 carats. Both watches showcase brilliant-cut stones meticulously selected and cut for uniformity. The diamonds and sapphires’ brilliance is accentuated by mirror-polished chamfers on the bezel, case, and bracelet links.

The two dials exhibit subtle color nuances, with 422 stones reflecting against gold bezels, hour markers, and hands, enhancing readability. The date window at 3 o’clock is harmoniously matched to the watch’s gold tones. The 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight on the caseback can be rhodium-toned or plated with yellow gold. These models are powered by the Calibre 7121, a self-winding movement specially designed for the “Jumbo” case, boasting enhanced energy and precision.

Calibre 7121 features exquisite decorations like Côtes de Genève, traits tirés, and circular satin finishing, visible through the sapphire caseback. These fully set Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin variations are exclusively available in Audemars Piguet boutiques.
