Chronoswiss has built much of its identity on guilloche, and the Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloche Gold takes that know how into new territory. The dial begins as a brass surface engraved by hand in the Atelier Lucerne, then passes through a special sandblasting process in which ultra fine particles of synthetic corundum are directed onto the pattern with precision. The hand cut geometry remains intact, yet the surface changes completely, trading polished reflection for a soft crystalline frost that catches and scatters light across the dial.
That frosted landscape sets the stage for a genuine travel complication. Inside runs the Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C.6002, developed exclusively with La Joux-Perret, with 55 hours of power reserve. The movement carries a dedicated two time zone module: a 24 hour disc at 9 o’clock tracks the second time zone, a 12 hour disc at 3 o’clock keeps home time in view, and central minutes and seconds tie both together with mechanical clarity. It is a construction built around orientation and the rhythm of life between cities.
The 41mm case comes in 18ct gold and carries the sculptural codes of the Pulse family, from the onion crown to the coin edge bezel and the powerful case architecture built for a world in motion. A new black integrated rubber strap, exclusive to this model, gives the precious metal a functional, sporty footing. Chronoswiss describes the result as Modern Mechanical, and the phrase fits: traditional craftsmanship treated as something alive, a familiar technique made to feel new again.
