IWC Schaffhausen has introduced the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team to celebrate its enduring partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team as they gear up for the 2025 season. The watch features a 40mm case made of lightweight and robust Grade 5 titanium, a material known for its high strength-to-density ratio and frequent use in high-performance automotive engineering. The titanium case has a matte grey finish, achieved through machining and sandblasting, which gives it a distinctive greyish shimmer.
The black dial has printed numerals and indices in the team’s iconic Petronas green, while the hands are coated with matching Super-LumiNova®. A rubber strap in Petronas green, equipped with the EasX-CHANGE® strap system, complements the design. The case back is engraved with a hexagonal pattern and the “Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team” insignia.
Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre, an automatic movement with an impressive 120-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 10 bar, this durable timepiece is designed for both performance and style, making it a fitting companion for the team’s mechanics, engineers, and strategists throughout the 2025 Formula One season.
This latest release builds on IWC’s history of creating dedicated team watches, following the 2022 Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team” (Ref. IW388108) and the 2023 Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 (Ref. IW388306). Since 2013, IWC has been the Official Engineering Partner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team, a collaboration marked by shared values of precision, innovation, and performance. Between 2014 and 2021, the team achieved a historic eight consecutive constructors’ championships, setting an unparalleled record in Formula One.
