In a fresh take on travel timekeeping, Jaeger-LeCoultre teams up again with designer Marc Newson to introduce the Memovox Travel Clock. Presented during Milan Design Week 2026, this new piece combines practicality with strong design appeal. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand yet bold in presence, it combines a lightweight titanium case with a leather pouch. The concept builds on the brand’s long history of travel clocks and world-time watches, while revisiting the famous Memovox alarm first launched in 1950, known for its clear dial layout and its distinctive, almost nostalgic ringing sound.
This modern version keeps things simple but smart. Designed with everyday use in mind, it runs on a new in-house manual movement, Calibre 256, offering a generous 12-day power reserve, ideal for travel without constant winding. The display is clean and intuitive, with circular elements layered neatly across the dial. A subtle power reserve indicator changes color as energy runs down, adding both function and visual interest. The signature alarm function remains central, easy to set and easy to read, while luminous details ensure visibility in low light.
The design continues with a lightweight yet robust titanium case, complete with an integrated stand for use on a desk or bedside table. Controls are neatly hidden, keeping the look uncluttered. Limited to just 100 pieces per year, the Memovox Travel Clock also comes with a full travel setup created in partnership with Schedoni. This includes a leather pouch, storage for watches and a set of tools, everything you’d want on the move. It’s a well-rounded, design-led object that feels both practical and quietly luxurious.
