The LM FlyingT Onyx in yellow gold marks a new chapter in MB&F’s Legacy Machine series, characterized by its fusion of elegance and dynamism inspired by feminine influences. This timepiece features a round case with a steeply cambered bezel and elongated lugs. Its high dome of sapphire crystal houses a dial in onyx, with a central asymmetric opening revealing a flying tourbillon beating at 2.5Hz. The tourbillon is topped with a rotating diamond and is accompanied by a dial displaying hours and minutes at the 7 o’clock position, tilted 50° that can be easily read by the wearer of the watch. The reverse reveals an automatic winding rotor shaped like a sun.
The LM FlyingT Onyx edition introduces a deep black onyx dial encased in 18k yellow gold. The movement architecture of the LM FlyingT engine departs from conventional radial approaches, employing a vertical and co-axial construction to accommodate the flying tourbillon’s bold projection beyond the dial. Conical gears ensure precise timekeeping on the inclined dial, while a counterweight compensates for the asymmetrical upper tourbillon cage. With 280 components, the engine boasts a four-day power reserve, reflecting MB&F’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
