MB&F creations transport wearers to imaginative worlds, with the EVO line marking a milestone in 2020 through the LM Perpetual EVO, designed for active lifestyles. These watches ensure wearers never leave them behind. The LM Perpetual EVO debuted in zirconium, followed by a titanium edition with a green CVD dial-plate, later updated to ice blue in 2024. Celebrating MB&F LAB’s Silicon Valley launch, a limited edition of 18 pieces in 18K rose gold with an ocean blue dial-plate now joins the series. All versions feature integrated rubber straps for unmatched comfort.
The LM Perpetual EVO Silicon Valley’s 44mm rose gold case design emphasizes clarity, with a no-bezel construction and domed sapphire crystal fused directly to the case. This enhances both the legibility of the perpetual calendar and the visibility of the MB&F signature hovering balance wheel. New sapphire crystal geometries balance structural strength with a reduced height-to-diameter ratio. The design also incorporates a thermal bonding system for durability.
The FlexRing, a monobloc shock-absorbing system, enhances robustness, while the LM Perpetual Engine, made by Stephen McDonnell, redefines the perpetual calendar using a “mechanical processor.” This processor defaults each month to 28 days, adding days as needed, ensuring precise date tracking, and preventing incorrect jumps. A safety mechanism disconnects quickset pushers during date changes, avoiding damage.
The LM Perpetual EVO Silicon Valley’s circular pushers were replaced with double-sprung oblong actuators for easier adjustment, while the screw-down crown, with an 80m water resistance, features a débrayage system to prevent overwinding.
