Nivada Grenchen has reintroduced its iconic Antarctic Spider watch, originally produced from 1963 to the 1970s, with a new version featuring a striking spider dial in a sunburst salmon finish, the Antarctic Salmon Spider. This revival pays homage to the original model’s audacious design, which was ahead of its time and always garnered attention. The new version combines silver satin-brushed steel with a pastel salmon dial. Previous versions of the Antarctic Spider included a sunburst silver dial and limited editions in shades of blue. Unlike these limited editions, the new salmon dial version will be part of the permanent collection.
The Antarctic Salmon Spider watch has a striking design, highlighted by its salmon-colored dial with slim baton indexes arranged in a pattern reminiscent of a spider. Encased within a 38mm stainless steel case and protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal, this timepiece is both sophisticated and eye-catching. With a water resistance of up to 100 meters, it’s equipped for everyday wear. Powered by a Swiss-made SOPROD P024 self-winding movement, the watch comes alive with its precise timekeeping.
