The “Time of Colours” series by PEQUIGNET adds vibrancy to its iconic Royale Saphir line with five exclusive, limited edition models (totaling 50 pieces). Introduced in 2019, the Royale Saphir range is designed to showcase the Calibre Royal®, the only high horology movement made in France, visible through its transparent sapphire dial. This collection, adding to the earlier ‘Ombres et Lumières’ range launched in June 2023, brings new hues, including Royale Saphir Amber Yellow, Ruby Red, Jade Green, Topaz Blue, and Lapis-lazuli Blue, inspired by the splendor of precious gemstones.

The Royale Saphir “Time of Colours” range, aligning with PEQUIGNET’s artistic and engineering expertise, integrates these colors into every aspect of the watch, including the alligator strap, dial, case, hands, and date and moon phase discs, resulting in a sophisticated ‘color block’ effect. The 42mm diameter cases, crafted in polished steel with a DLC treatment, undergo an exclusive coloring process through cathodic spraying for a flawless finish, blending technical excellence with aesthetic appeal.

Each timepiece in the collection highlights the Royale Saphir’s transparent dial, showcasing the moon phase complication, an 88-hour power reserve, and a large double window for day and date display. The Calibre Royal® at the heart of these watches is a testament to French horological innovation, integrating all complications on a single plate and composed of over 350 components.
