Case in white Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT® with the caseband in Carbon TPT®.
The Richard Mille RM 35-03 Automatic Rafael Nadal is a sophisticated timepiece featuring a new, patented complication known as the butterfly rotor. This innovation, developed over three years, allows wearers to interact directly with the rotor’s geometry, adjusting the watch’s winding speed according to their lifestyle and activity level. The butterfly rotor, composed of two grade 5 titanium arms with heavy metal segments, can change its position to either aid in winding the barrel or to suspend the winding process. This adjustment is done through a push-piece at 7 o’clock, offering practicality and interaction.
The RM 35-03 also includes a sports mode and a function selector, enabling transitions between winding, neutral, and time-setting modes. The winding indicator on the dial shows the status of the oscillating weight.
The RM 35-03 is part of the ‘baby Nadal’ collection, inspired by the tourbillon watches worn by Rafael Nadal in tennis. This model, which is the fourth in the series, offers a combination of athletic aesthetics and ergonomic design. Available in three versions, including blue and white Quartz TPT®, Carbone TPT® and white Quartz TPT®, it features design elements from the RM 27-04 Tourbillon.
The watch’s movement is skeletonized, visible through sapphire crystals, with a baseplate and bridges made of grade 5 titanium, enhancing its visual appeal. The openwork hands and the numbers 3, 6, 9, and 12 on the microblasted titanium flange add to its elegant design.
The RM 35-03 Automatic Rafael Nadal represents a blend of technical innovation and aesthetic sophistication, embodying the spirit of performance and excellence shared by Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal.
