SevenFriday M3/05 – Pimp

SevenFriday presents its second art collaborative project with the artist Rocketbyz by Tomboy, bringing an explosion of fluorescent colors to a brand-new series of limited-edition SevenFriday M3/01 timepieces and sunglasses.

Rocketbyz by Tomboy is an international visual artist best-known for his use of fluorescent colors. Born in Germany, he started his artistic career producing R&B music before falling into the art world. It all began when he wanted to produce merchandise to bring attention to his production company and started by creating fluorescent-painted BMX and Fixiebikes. The success of these bikes was beyond anything he could possibly have imagined and led him to found his Rocketbyz company. He now makes all kinds of different lifestyle and luxury products including sneakers, scooters, fashion, cars, homes, and watches.

The case

The cases come in a size of 47.6mm x 47mm with a thickness of 15mm. The colorful animated bezel is crafted out of alternate layers of genuine carbon and neon-colored resin in orange that glows in the dark. The case is made of three parts in stainless steel and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The edition is limited to 150 pieces.

The Movement

The Art SevenFriday X Rocketbyz timepieces are powered by automatic Miyota 8215 movements that have a 40-hour power reserve and indicate the hours, minutes and seconds.

Sunglasses

Each timepiece comes with a pair of matching sunglasses, made out of black EVA material and designed by Rocketbyz, that complement the colors and style of the watch. The frame of the sunglasses even connects to the SevenFriday app!

The SevenFriday app

Each timepiece can be connected to the SevenFriday app thanks to an NFC chip embedded into the case back. This chip allows a secured authentication and registration of the watch.
