Limited edition of 300 pieces
"LIMITED EDITION” & “ONE OF 300” and a Chinese Dragon pattern printed.
In anticipation of the Lunar New Year 2024, TAG Heuer introduces two limited edition watches commemorating the Year of the Dragon. These timepieces, blending Chinese cultural elements with TAG Heuer’s racing heritage, symbolize tradition and innovation. The Chinese Dragon, central to Chinese mythology and representing power and unity, is a key inspiration for these watches.
The collection includes two models, crafted in either rose gold or steel, echoing the strength and charisma of the Chinese Dragon, a figure of significant cultural and mythological importance in China. The design of these watches reflects TAG Heuer’s commitment to precision and bold aesthetics, drawing parallels with the dragon’s enduring legacy.
The steel version features a sunray-brushed silver dial, while the rose gold variant has a sunray-brushed 18K 5N rose gold-plated dial. Both models are adorned with rhodium-plated and 18K 5N rose gold plated indexes, accented by red lacquer, with distinct red “azuré” subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock. A special calligraphic dragon character is discreetly placed at 6 o’clock, symbolizing strength and prosperity.
The caseback is customized with a printed Chinese Dragon around the sapphire glass, and special engravings indicate each watch’s limited edition status. The Calibre Heuer 02 movement, developed in-house, is visible through the case back, offering an 80-hour power reserve.
Each Carrera Chronograph The Year of the Dragon is matched with a red alligator leather strap. The watches are presented in a special red box adorned with the Chinese Dragon symbol, reflecting the profound cultural connection.
